A man is what he believes and our beliefs will influence our behavior.

Without doing an in-depth doctrinal discourse, simply stated, Rosedale Baptist Church is and Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church.

Simply stated The Gospel is…

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)  Moreover brethren, I declare unto you

the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received , and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached

unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all

that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The Gospel and The Fundamentals of The Faith are one in the same…

The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice.

For Jesus to be the Christ means He is The Son of God and He became the God-Man via The Virgin Birth.

Christ died for our sins and His shed blood is the One and Only Atonement for our sins.

Christ was literally, physically buried for our sins.

Christ rose from the grave on the third day for our sins.

Historically being Baptist means having a Belief System in the following……

Biblical Authority…The Bible is our absolute belief and practice

Autonomy of The Local Church…The Head of The Local Church is Christ

Priesthood of The Believer…Each believer serves as his own priest

Two Ordinances…Believers Baptism by Immersion & Communion

Individual Soul Liberty…Been set free from guilt and power of sin

Saved Church Membership…Only Born-again believers are members

Two Offices in The Local Church…Pastor & Deacon

           Separation of Church & State

Being Independent means…

That a Local Church is not affiliated with such ecclesiastical, ecumenical groups as The National Council of Churches and The World Council of Churches, neither is it affiliated with such Baptist Groups such as The American Baptist Convention, The Conservative Baptist Convention, The Northern Baptist Convention, and/or The Southern Baptist Convention.
