Rosedale Baptist Church’s youth program is a program based in prayer and the Bible,
from our teen Sunday School Class, to our weekly teen program, T-SLICE, to our monthly discipleship class, Testament Teens.
Sunday School is a time for instruction in God’s Word and a time for growth. Our teen class has also won the past two Sunday School programs at the church. And when that happens they get to reap the rewards and their leader, Mr. Jones, gets to pay the price!
T-SLICE is a program by teens for teens. T-SLICE stands for Teens Supporting Life In Christ Eternal. Their verse is 1 John 5:12, “He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
The teens meet together on Wednesdays at 7pm, where they spend time carrying each others burdens before the throne of God. Then they recite the Bible verses that they have memorized during the week. They earn points for their attendance, Bible memorization, and service projects.
The points are tallied each quarter and those who reach their memorization and point goal for that quarter earn a trip to a fun destination.
Our monthly discipleship class for Teens is called Testament Teens. They meet in the morning on the last Saturday of each month. Here the teens learn from guest speakers, how to live a Christ centered life based upon the principles of the Word of God. Principles they then put in to practice and share with others.
